Arcoute processes personal information for student rentals and long-stay housing workflows in Candon City. We follow practical privacy principles of transparency, legitimate purpose, and proportionality.
Information We Collect
We may collect account details, Google sign-in profile information, profile fields, listing details, application details, messages, viewing schedules, host verification records, uploaded verification documents, device/session metadata, and marketplace activity needed to operate Arcoute.
How We Use Information
- To create and secure user accounts.
- To show public rental listings and host dashboards.
- To send applications from tenants to the relevant host.
- To coordinate messages, viewings, bookings, verification, and support.
- To review listings and prevent misleading or unsafe marketplace activity.
Google Sign-In
When you sign in with Google, Arcoute uses the verified Google ID token to create or access your account. We use the Google account name, email, unique subject identifier, and profile photo when available. Arcoute does not need or store a Google client secret in public files.
Verification Documents
Host verification documents are for private review. They are not public listing assets. Tenants should provide ID or sensitive documents only when necessary and only through Arcoute-approved verification or host screening steps.
Sharing
Tenant application information is shared with the host connected to the listing. Host listing information may be shown publicly after approval. We may share information when required by law or needed to protect users and the marketplace.
Retention And Deletion
Arcoute keeps records while accounts, listings, applications, viewings, messages, or disputes remain active. Stale applications and documents may be deleted or archived through admin controls as the operating workflow matures.
